Parking in Amsterdam

Parking in Amsterdam - 16 euros for 3,5 hours. What? Parked on Sunday at Museumplein. If anyone knows cheaper - tell Wink

Basically, I was ready for this. Just Sunday morning I read that parking in Amsterdam - the most expensive in the world - 77 U.S. dollars all day (apparently, per day). It is more expensive than in London, which ranks second in the world with almost $ 57 for parking! And, incidentally, in third place again, The Netherlands, The Hague. The average price for parking in this city about the same as in Vienna, Austria - about 56 U.S. dollars.

And if we take into account that the Dutch are not the cheapest petrol in Europe (by the way, is now one liter of petrol is on average worth about 1.38 euros for the euro super "(95th)), is clearly evident that this country - not a paradise for motorists.

Although it is a "but"! My personal opinion - in the Netherlands, one of the best roads in Europe! And they are free (at least not yet), so I'm not comparing the Dutch road with French or Italian. They are perfect, but very expensive. But that's another story.

We are also horrified by giving a day to park in Amsterdam, 50 euros. It was a wild desire to go to the parking lot on foot, taking one more coupons and to leave him. But afraid that we slept in the chamber.

P + R parking around Amsterdam offered for a nominal fee to leave the car in the parking lot, and by the further movement by public transport.
Or leave the car in the suburbs, for example, in Diemen'e duty free parking, and get into the city by tram.
